   Your advices of gold will never get old

( poem by my elder son Pritish)

           Those deep thinking eyes

           I will never see

           The stern but soft voice

           Will never be heard.

    Oh! Those fruitful discussions

         We won't have any

        I have seen greats

But like you, I've not seen any.

       You old wise brigadier

       I'll remember you always 

Your eyes in mine, and your voice in my  ears.

   Your loss is difficult to bear

   But your thoughts will stay with me

   Forever.

   It will be hard to let you go,

My friend ! Harder it will be to forget

Your smile in the end.

   Your advice of gold

    Will never get old.

    You are gone but you left your ideas

    And traits you wore.

Your presence will never be absent,

      but Home and my heart aren't the same anymore.
